Exemplary Safety Standards: Protecting Our Team and Communities

At Front Line, safety is paramount. We maintain an extensive in-house safety program focused on continual development and heightened safety awareness. With Certified Trainers on staff, new employees at Front Line begin with education via the Smith Driving program, human performance, proper cover, PPE, and other valuable education. We prioritize continuing training, engaging employee stakeholders through our employee-led Safety Advisory Board, and requiring continuous refresher training to uphold the highest safety standards throughout every aspect of our operations.

Front Line proudly holds an industry-low Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR). With zero incidents always the goal, our trailing three-year average TRIR is just 0.82, a testament to our unwavering dedication to safety. This achievement reflects our steadfast commitment to safeguarding the well-being of our team members and the communities we serve.

We take immense pride in being an IBEW Local Union 66 Contractor. Our craft employees are esteemed union members, ensuring they receive the finest benefits in the industry. Our Journeyman Linemen undergo rigorous training, completing 7,000 hours in an on-the-job, step-based apprentice program with NJATC and three years of classroom theory and exams.
